I swear I could put BBQ sauce on cardboard and my husband would eat it. That being said… this pizza tastes the furthest from cardboard as anything could get. It is tangy, with a hint of spice and sweet in all the right places.

BBQ Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  2. In a skillet heat up the olive oil and add in the vegan chicken, paprika, onion powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously and then remove from the heat.
  3. Prepare baking sheet with either parchment paper or semolina flour and pizza dough.
  4. Reserving 1/8 cup of the BBQ sauce for after the pizza has baked, spread the rest of the BBQ sauce directly onto the pizza dough as you would a typical pizza sauce.
  5. Spread the spinach, corn, red onion, and vegan chicken evenly over the pizza.
  6. Sprinkle the vegan cheese evenly over the toppings.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes. (Time varies based on ovens)
  8. While pizza is baking take the remaining BBQ sauce and whisk with 2 Tbs of water to make a sauce to be drizzled on top.
  9. Once the crust has turned golden brown, remove from the oven and top with green onions and cilantro. Drizzle sauce over the pizza and enjoy!
